Travis Rice, a three-time graduate from Clemson University, has joined the MOA team as a Project Designer. In his new role, Travis will work collaboratively with project teams, clients, and consulting engineers in designing drawings for various project types.

Travis is equally experienced and comfortable in on-site construction management roles as well as the corporate executive environment, and able to work collaboratively with fellow architects, engineers, developers, and contractors. His enthusiasm, skill and experience are perfect additions to the MOA Team.

Travis graduated from Clemson University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, and in 2007, he became the first African American to graduate from Clemson with a master’s degree in real estate development. His career in real estate development includes mixed-use developments (office/retail/luxury condominiums), multi-family condominiums, and institutional public-private partnership projects with the Georgia Board of Regents.

I am so excited to join the MOA team. Design is my true passion, and I look forward to being a part of the design process from concept to completion.

Travis most recently worked as a COVID-19 Critical Care Registered Nurse. Travis transitioned to a career in nursing after the economic downturn of 2008 and earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Clemson in 2018.

Travis is a father of twin daughters, Logan and Lauren, who compete on the high school level with the high school cheerleading team. He is an ambassador for my local gym, the Junkyard Fitness based in Anderson, SC and Greenville, SC.

Travis is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He is currently a member of the Anderson graduate chapter, Rho Delta Lambda.
