CEO / Architect

Michael Allen has 22 years of successful architectural design, business development and project management experience, including LEED and Green Globe Sustainability projects.

He has deep knowledge of a variety of project scales and budgets which stems from his leadership on higher education, K-12 education, civic, cultural, commercial, and sports & recreation projects. 

Michael’s true passion is people. He believes that design can help create a world where all people feel included, powerful and free in the spaces where they live, work and play. He founded MOA to guide and support clients towards that end. 

Michael serves on the Board of Directors for several organizations, including the Liberty Fellowship, Spartanburg Methodist College, and the State Chamber of Commerce Diversity Council. He also serves on the Greenville Community Remembrance Project Monument Committee. Michael previously served on the Greenville City Planning Commission, the Greenville Technical College Foundation Board, and he is the former Chair of the Leadership South Carolina Board and the Clemson University Black Alumni Council.

Michael played football at Clemson University and was awarded the 2019 Brian Dawkins Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in career and community achievements. Michael also received the 2021 Social Justice Award from the South Carolina Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

Priscilla Singleton

COO / Architect

Priscilla Singleton has been practicing architecture for 26 years and developing and investing in real estate for 12 years.

Priscilla’s ability to lead, manage office operations, oversee project team organization and exposure in designing for every architectural genre gives her the ability to ensure successful projects and client satisfaction.  Her project experience spans multiple sectors, including K-12 education, higher education, sports and recreation, medical facilities, commercial, ministry and hospitality.  

Priscilla enjoys volunteering in the community and mentoring youth. She is a United Way Young Leaders Society Champion and is a Leadership Spartanburg graduate from the Class of 2008. She served as the build coordinator for the KABOOM Playground for Southside Unity in the Community and a home repair team member for Victory World Church. 

Priscilla is a registered architect in Georgia and South Carolina. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Clemson University. 


Larry Moore

Retail Studio Director

As the retail studio director, Larry Moore is responsible for all phases of design and construction of retail projects from beginning to completion.

Larry serves as the primary client contact for each project in the retail studio, leading the project team and collaborating with the principal architect to produce architectural design within MOA’s design standards.

Larry joined the team in 2022 with seven years of experience in architecture as a director and project manager. He specialized in retail projects throughout his career, and he has an associate’s degree in drafting and design and a bachelor’s degree in construction management. He has also served in the United States Army and the South Carolina National Guard.

Travis Rice

Project Designer

As a project designer, Travis Rice works collaboratively with project teams, clients, and consulting engineers in designing drawings for various project types.

Travis graduated from Clemson University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, and in 2007, he became the first African American to graduate from Clemson with a master’s degree in real estate development. His career in real estate development includes mixed-use developments (office/retail/luxury condominiums), multi-family condominiums, and institutional public-private partnership projects with the Georgia Board of Regents.  

Before returning to architecture at MOA, Travis most recently worked as a COVID-19 Critical Care Registered Nurse. He transitioned to a career in nursing after the economic downturn of 2008 and earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Clemson in 2018. 

Travis is a father of twin daughters, Logan and Lauren, who compete on the high school level with the high school cheerleading team. He is an ambassador for my local gym, the Junkyard Fitness based in Anderson, SC and Greenville, SC.  

Travis is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He is currently a member of the Anderson graduate chapter, Rho Delta Lambda.

Gail Pasley

Executive Assistant

A highly skilled administrative professional, Gail Pasley has 20 years of experience assisting principals, executives, and project leaders.  

Gail supports the MOA team by preparing AIA contracts, proposals and letters. She is a consummate professional with excellent communication skills. A well-organized gatekeeper, she often manages a range of tasks from busy calendars to billing coordination.

Gail obtained her associate’s degree in secretarial science from Columbia College of Business.

In her free time, she enjoys planning events, fishing, and bowling.
