At this free event, you can dispose of unwanted electronics and all types of metal. We will also be accepting cardboard, paper and plastic recycling.

About the Sustainability Partnership with BMW

MOA Architecture, Inc. is hosting the E-Waste Drive as part of a continuing sustainability partnership with the BMW Charity Pro-Am tournament. This is the fourth E-Waste Drive as a result of the partnership.

“Golf is dependent on the natural environment, and MOA Architecture is dedicated to helping our clients and partners minimize our impact on the environment,” said Michael Allen, CEO of MOA Architecture, Inc. “It’s a natural partnership for us, one that helps us live our core values. We are thrilled to partner with the BMW Tournament again this year.”  

The 2022 Event generated 11.67 tons of Waste-to-Energy, 7.17 tons of construction material recycling, and 5.47 tons of paper, cardboard, and plastic recycling.

The E-Waste Drive is one part of the tournament’s overarching sustainability program that includes a variety of initiatives. Learn more about the program’s goals and outcomes in the 2022 Sustainability Report below.



About the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX

South Carolina Charities, Inc. (SCCI), the non-profit foundation of the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX, was created in order to showcase the beauty of Upstate South Carolina and hospitality of its citizens to the world; to create an event that brings the upstate a fun and entertaining week centered around professional athletes and world-renowned celebrities; and raise money and awareness for South Carolina charities. Since 2001, the tournament has distributed more than $14.3 million to numerous Upstate SC non-profit organizations, part of the PGA TOUR’s $3 billion plus raised for charity. 

 The 2023 BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX will take place June 5-11 at Thornblade Club and The Carolina Country Club.
