CASA Family Systems

MOA Architecture is proud to announce the successful completion of the full renovation of the 12,000-square-foot Orangeburg County Domestic Violence Shelter, a vital resource for individuals and families in need. In collaboration with Orangeburg County and CASA (Citizens Against Sexual Assault) Family Systems, we transformed this two-story facility into a safe, welcoming, and empowering haven for up to 14 families affected by sexual assault, family violence, child abuse, and neglect.

The renovation delivers a modern, secure, and uplifting environment designed to foster healing and hope. Key upgrades include enhanced security systems, all-new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure, and the addition of a fully equipped commercial kitchen. Larger suites were created to accommodate bigger families, each featuring private kitchenettes and bathrooms, ensuring dignity and independence for residents.

This newly reimagined shelter stands as a beacon of safety and support for the Orangeburg County community, reflecting our shared commitment to creating spaces that protect, nurture, and inspire.
