As part of our sponsorship of the BMW Charity Pro-Am’s new Sustainability Program, we are proud to present the Household Hazardous / E-Waste Drop-Off at Roper Mountain Science Center on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sustainability is a core value at MOA Architecture, and we are supporting this event to help ensure items that do not belong in the landfill stay out of the landfill.
Renaissance Foundation selects MOA Architecture for historic Bethel A.M.E. Church project
The Renaissance Foundation has selected MOA Architecture as the project architect for historic Bethel A.M.E. Church in downtown Columbia, South Carolina. To mark the 100th anniversary of the building, the public is invited to an open house with Michael Allen, CEO of MOA Architecture, on May 26 at 11 a.m. The event is open to the public, and registration is not required.

Bringing historic Camp Daniels back to life
South Carolina State University’s Camp Daniels was a hub of activity when it opened in 1947, but it was closed decades later due to the aging of the facilities. South Carolina State retained MOA Architecture to complete a master plan to help bring the camp back to life.
Why I created MOA Architecture
Growing up, I loved to draw. My love for art is what sparked my interest in architecture because it could bring my drawings to life. The idea of drawing a building, and six months later being able to walk into it and touch it, was thrilling. It still is.
MOA Architecture selected as architects for The Echo Theater
MOA Architecture, Inc., has been selected to redesign The Echo Theater in Laurens, South Carolina. Originally a segregated movie theater, in 1996 the building housed “The Redneck Shop,” which was advertised as the world-famous Ku Klux Klan (KKK) museum.
