Seneca Water Treatment Plant
Perched on the scenic shores of Lake Keowee, this new, ground-up water treatment facility represents a major milestone in the City of Seneca’s investment in sustainable infrastructure and community pride. Designed to complement the breathtaking lake views while housing critical water treatment operations, the project delivers both function and architectural presence.
The modern facility will feature a state-of-the-art testing laboratory, administrative offices, a dedicated classroom for educational outreach, a flexible meeting area for staff and community use, and a cutting-edge control center that serves as the heart of the water treatment process. In addition, the project includes a thoughtfully designed enclosure and architectural enhancements to the water intake pump station, ensuring both operational efficiency and visual harmony with the surrounding natural beauty.
More than just a functional upgrade, this project symbolizes the city’s commitment to providing clean water, protecting its natural resources, and building infrastructure that inspires civic pride for decades to come.
